You’re Not Late, You’re Just in Preparation

Hey sis.

Before you read another word, I want you to stop for just one moment. Take a breath. A real one. In through your nose, out through your mouth. Because what I am about to say, I need you to receive it. Not just read it. Receive it.

You are not behind. You are not forgotten. You are not too late.

You are in preparation.

The Weight You Are Carrying

I know what it is like to carry a thousand thoughts in your head while smiling through a full day of responsibilities. I know what it feels like to have your hands busy with nappies, homework, dinner, and work deadlines, and still have your heart quietly longing for the dreams you have not yet seen come to life.

You are not alone in that feeling. You are me.

There are days when life feels like too much and yet somehow, still not enough. You have the vision. You have the ideas. You have started the YouTube channel, launched the blog, prayed over the business, written the plans, sacrificed sleep, and shown up again and again and again.

And yet the growth you expected? It is not there. Not in the way you hoped.

You look around, and it feels like everyone else is gliding past you. Launching. Scaling. Being celebrated. People who started after you are now being noticed, followed, and featured. Meanwhile, you are still working behind the scenes, quietly wondering if anyone even sees you. Wondering if you missed your moment. Wondering if you misunderstood your assignment.

But I want to speak straight to that doubt today.

You have not missed your moment. You are being prepared for it.

The Wait Is Not a Waste

I know how hard it is to watch others rise when you are still wrestling with your "why not yet." I know how heavy it feels when you have poured out your heart, your prayers, your time, your energy and things still feel still. Quiet. Slow.

But let me remind you of something simple and true: seeds grow in silence.

You do not see a seed doing anything when it is in the ground. It looks like nothing is happening. But underneath the surface, roots are forming, strength is being built, and life is preparing to break through.

Just because you cannot see the fruit yet does not mean the roots are not taking hold.

We live in a world that celebrates speed above everything. Viral videos. Overnight success stories. Ten thousand followers in a week. Everything is fast, everything is instant, and everything is on display. It is easy to look at that world and feel like you are failing simply because you are not moving at that pace.

But the Kingdom of God works differently.

God is not building you for a moment. He is building you for lasting impact. And that kind of impact the kind that changes lives, that stands the test of time, that carries real meaning that takes time. It takes preparation. It takes pruning. It takes private development that nobody else can see.

You cannot rush what God is building in you.

You Are Being Processed, Not Punished

This is one of the most important things I want you to hold onto today.

God will not promote what has not been processed.

Right now, in this quiet season, in this slow season, in this "nothing seems to be working" season you are being processed. Not punished. Not forgotten. Not passed over.

Processed.

That means He is working on the inside of you. He is strengthening your character. He is deepening your faith. He is healing parts of you that needed healing before you stepped into the next level. He is making sure that when the door opens, you will be ready to walk through it and stay standing once you are on the other side.

I want to share something personal here. I wrote a song from my own experience of waiting. With the help of some tools, I turned those feelings into music. It is called The Waiting Room.. Because that is exactly what this season feels like sometimes a waiting room. You know something is coming. You just do not know when your name will be called.

But your name is on the list.

Let Them

Let them
Let them

I recently read a book called Let Them” by Mel Robbins. While it does not focus on Christianity, it spoke something very biblical into my heart: release people to their journey and focus on your own.

Let them go viral. Let them grow fast. Let them be celebrated. Let them seem ahead.

Let them.

But do not let go of what God told you to do.

Comparison will kill your creativity. Jealousy will choke your joy. Watching someone else's highlight reel and measuring it against your behind-the-scenes will drain you every single time.

God's path for you is not on a timer based on them. It is on His divine timeline. And He has not forgotten you.

Their story is not your story. Their timing is not your timing. Their journey is not your journey. And that is not a bad thing that is actually a gift. Because what God has for you is specific to you. It is shaped around your gifts, your calling, your family, your purpose. Nobody else can walk your path.

So let them go ahead. And you keep walking yours.

What This Season Is Really Doing in You

Maybe right now, God is teaching you endurance the kind that does not collapse when things get hard. Maybe He is healing some deep heart things before He places you in a position to lead others. Maybe He is maturing your message so that when you speak, it carries real weight. Maybe He is training you in excellence behind closed doors before He opens the public stage.

Whatever it is trust it.

This slower season is not failure. It is formation.

Formation is the work that happens before the fruit.

And yes, it is tempting to chase fast wins. It is tempting to do what everyone else is doing, to try the shortcut, to force the door open. But deep down, you do not want quick success that crumbles. You want fruit that remains. You want to build something with meaning, not just metrics. You want to look back in five years and be proud of how you got there.

So take the slower road if that is what is in front of you. Say no to what does not align. Say yes to growth that is authentic. Trust the process, even when the process feels painfully slow.

You Are Not Just Building a Business

Let us be honest with each other for a moment.

You are not just trying to grow a platform or build a business. You are building a whole life a life that aligns with your faith, your family, your calling, and your purpose. That is no small task. It takes energy. It takes emotion. It takes enormous amounts of grace.

You are not just a content creator. You are a mum. A wife. A woman of God. A student of life. Someone managing real emotions, real expectations, and the real everyday hustle of being a woman in this season.

So be kind to yourself. Be patient with yourself. Stop measuring your progress by someone else's timeline.

You are doing more than you realise.

What You Do Not See

Here is something I want you to sit with.

You do not see how many people you have already helped. You do not see the seeds you have quietly planted in people's lives. You do not see the impact of your presence your honesty, your openness, your courage to simply try. You do not see the full picture that God is weaving together behind the scenes.

But you will.

One day, you will look back at this exact season this slow, quiet, frustrating, faith-stretching season and you will thank God you did not give up. You will see how He used the waiting to shape your voice. How He used the quiet to deepen your faith. How He used every "not yet" to build the kind of woman who would not collapse when the door finally opened.

The wait was not wasted. It was working.

A Gentle Reminder for the Hard Days

The next time the enemy whispers "you are behind," I want you to remember these things:

God's timing is not your enemy. His delays are not denials. They are directions.

Growth looks different for everyone. What looks fast for someone else might not even be sustainable. Slow and steady builds something that lasts.

What you are doing matters, even when it is unseen. The work you do in private is never invisible to God.

You do not need to prove yourself. You need to trust your process. Proof will come in its own time.

You are being positioned, not punished. There is a difference, and God knows exactly what He is doing.

Let them go ahead. That is their story. You? You are walking into something sacred. Something set apart. And the wait is not a delay it is divine design.

Keep Going

So breathe again. Be still. Pick your head up.

Speak life back into your calling.

Go back to the blog. Pick up the camera. Write the caption. Send the email. Dream out loud.

Not because everything is working yet but because God is.

Because faith is not just believing He will do it. It is continuing to walk like He already has.

Your time will come. And when it does, it will make sense. Not because it was perfect, but because it was worth it.

I am cheering for you because I am you. And together, we are going to keep rising.

With love,

Your fellow sister-in-the-same-season 💛
